The Coastal
Data Information Program (CDIP)
CDIP measures, analyzes, archives and disseminates coastal environment
data for use by coastal engineers, planners and managers, as
well as scientists and mariners.
International
Deployment of Accelerometers (Project IDA)
Project IDA is a global network of broadband and very long period seismometers
operated by the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, Scripps Institution
of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego.
Laboratory
for the Ocean Observatory Knowledge INtegration Grid (LOOKING)
LOOKING
is primarily a research effort into the identification, synthesis,
and assemblage of existing and emerging concepts and technologies
into a coherent viable cyberinfrastructure design. The goal of this
effort is to federate ocean observatories into an integrated knowledge
grid.
Real-time
Observatories, Applications and Data management Network (ROADNet)
ROADNet enhances our capacity to monitor and respond to changes in our environment
by developing both the wireless networks and the integrated, seamless, and transparent
information management system that will deliver seismic, oceanographic, hydrological,
ecological, and physical data to a variety of end users in real-time.
U.S. National
Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Pool (OBSIP)
OBSIP provides instrumentation to support research to further our understanding
of marine geology, seismology and geodynamics. Funded through the NSF, the Pool
makes ocean bottom seismic equipment available to all interested researchers,
to private and public organizations and to industry.
University-National
Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS)
UNOLS is an organization of 61 academic institutions and National Laboratories involved in oceanographic research and joined for the purpose of coordinating oceanographic ships' schedules and research facilities.
